When you arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, our driver will greet you. They will help you get to your hotel comfortably. Depending on when you arrive, you can relax at your hotel or go out to enjoy Delhi’s lively atmosphere. Connaught Place or Karol Bagh offers a great first taste of Delhi with shopping, street food, and cultural vibes.

Shikara ride on Dal Lake
Visit Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh
Today, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Srinagar—the crown jewel of Kashmir. As your flight lands, you’ll witness spectacular aerial views of the snow-capped Himalayas. When you arrive, our local representative will greet you. They will take you to your hotel or a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake.
In the afternoon, embark on a serene Shikara ride on Dal Lake, a signature experience in Srinagar. Glide through floating gardens and vegetable markets, taking in the calm and beauty of this water-bound world.
Later, visit Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh, two historic Mughal gardens located on the banks of the lake. These gardens are framed by the Zabarwan Hills and offer lovely spots to stroll, meditate, or simply relax.

Explore meadows and pine forests
After breakfast, embark on a picturesque drive to Gulmarg, also known as the “Meadow of Flowers.” Gulmarg is 8,825 feet above sea level. It is famous for its beautiful meadows, pine forests, and mountain views. While it is a popular ski resort in winter, spring and summer show green pastures. These pastures are great for photography, short hikes, and pony rides.
Don’t miss the opportunity to take the gondola ride (optional but highly recommended). This cable car takes you up to Mount Apharwat, from where you can enjoy jaw-dropping views of the Himalayan ranges.
Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Today’s adventure takes you to Pahalgam, a serene town about 95 km from Srinagar. The drive is scenic, passing through saffron fields and apple orchards.
Upon arrival, visit Betaab Valley, named after a Bollywood film. The valley, surrounded by lush greenery and snow-capped peaks, is ideal for picnics and photography. Next, head to Aru Valley, a quiet, pristine village perfect for a peaceful stroll or a pony ride.
Pahalgam also offers great riverside cafes where you can enjoy a cup of Kashmiri kahwa.
Return to Srinagar by evening.

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey toward Sonmarg, known as the “Meadow of Gold.” The route has amazing views of the Himalayan peaks. As you climb higher, you will see pine forests and alpine meadows all around you.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the day at leisure. You can opt for a short pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier or enjoy riverside walks along the Sindh River. Sonmarg is relatively less commercialized, making it perfect for nature lovers.

Explore Kargil town
Start your day early for the long journey to Kargil. Your route takes you through Zoji La Pass, a high-altitude mountain pass that offers both excitement and incredible views. If the weather is good, you can stop at Drass. It is the second coldest place where people live. You can also visit the Drass War Memorial. This memorial honors the heroes of the 1999 Kargil War.
Reach Kargil by late evening. Relax and explore the town briefly.

Arrive in Leh and acclimatize
Start your day by visiting the Kargil War Memorial. It honors Indian soldiers who gave their lives in the Kargil War. The museum and galleries offer insights into the valor and hardships of high-altitude warfare.
Continue toward Lamayuru, one of the oldest and most mystical monasteries in Ladakh. The landscape around Lamayuru is often called “Moonland” due to its lunar-like terrain—perfect for stunning photographs.
Arrive in Leh by evening. Located at over 11,000 feet, Leh requires acclimatization. Take it easy, drink plenty of water, and avoid strenuous activity.

Explore Hall of Fame and Thiksey Monastery
After a relaxing breakfast, head out to explore Leh, a blend of ancient traditions and Buddhist spirituality. Start with the Shanti Stupa. This bright white dome sits on a hill. It gives great views of Leh and the nearby mountains.
Next, visit the Leh Palace, a 17th-century structure that echoes the grandeur of Ladakhi royalty. Then visit the Hall of Fame. This museum is run by the Indian Army. It shares stories of courage, patriotism, and survival in tough conditions.
If time permits, visit the Thiksey Monastery, a beautiful complex resembling the Potala Palace of Lhasa. You may also explore Hemis Monastery, known for its vibrant festivals and religious artifacts.

Witness the ever-changing hues of Pangong Lake

Today’s drive to Pangong Lake is a highlight of the trip. You’ll cross Chang La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable passes, at over 17,500 feet. The journey, while bumpy, offers unforgettable views of snowfields, yaks grazing in pastures, and nomadic settlements.
Arrive at Pangong Lake, a breathtaking water body located at 14,270 feet. The lake spans over 130 km and extends into China. Known for changing colors—from blue to green to turquoise—Pangong is a visual treat and a photographer’s paradise.
Spend the evening by the lake, taking in the sunset and chilly winds.

Return to Leh

Visit local cafes and Tibetan market
After breakfast, begin your return drive to Leh. On arrival, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure. Visit the Leh Market to buy souvenirs such as Tibetan prayer flags, pashmina shawls, turquoise jewelry, and handmade crafts.
You can relax in one of Leh’s cozy cafes. You can also try local foods like butter tea, momos, or thukpa.

Flight to Delhi
Free time in Delhi or airport drop for international flight
Today, you’ll be transferred to Leh Airport (IXL) for your return flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.
Based on your flight schedule, you can rest or take a short tour. You can visit landmarks like India Gate and Lotus Temple. You can also go for last-minute shopping at Dilli Haat or Khan Market.
Overnight stay in Delhi or transfer to international airport for onward journey.

Leh and Pangong Lake are at high altitudes—rest adequately to avoid AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness).
Carry warm clothes regardless of season—nights are cold in Ladakh.
