Day 01
Arrival in Delhi
- Arrive at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. A driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel. Check in and relax after your journey.
- Start your Rajasthan Heritage Tour 7 Days with a visit to the Red Fort, a massive red sandstone fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Then, head to Humayun’s Tomb, a beautiful garden tomb that inspired the Taj Mahal.
- Visit the Lotus Temple, a flower-shaped building perfect for some quiet time. Have dinner at a local restaurant with tasty Indian dishes like butter chicken or paneer tikka.
- Stay at a comfortable hotel in Delhi.
Day 02
Delhi to Jaipur (280 km, 5 hours)
- After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, the Pink City. The ride takes about 5 hours, so sit back and enjoy the views of rural India.
- Check into your hotel in Jaipur. After a quick rest, visit the City Palace, home to royal families with beautiful courtyards and museums. Then, see Hawa Mahal, a pink palace with 953 windows built for royal women to watch street life.
- Explore Jaipur’s bustling markets like Johari Bazaar for jewelry or Bapu Bazaar for textiles. Try local snacks like kachori or sweets like ghewar.
- Stay at a heritage hotel in Jaipur.
Day 03
Jaipur Sightseeing
- Start your day with a trip to Amber Fort, a grand hilltop fort. Ride an elephant or take a jeep up to the entrance. Explore its mirror-filled rooms and stunning views.
- Visit Jantar Mantar, an old observatory with huge tools to track stars, and Nahargarh Fort, offering a great view of Jaipur city.
- Relax at your hotel or enjoy a Rajasthani folk dance show with dinner featuring dal baati churma, a local favorite.
- Stay in Jaipur.
Day 04
Jaipur to Jodhpur (330 km, 6 hours)
- After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur, the Blue City. The trip takes around 6 hours, passing through Rajasthan’s dry landscapes.
- Arrive in Jodhpur and check into your hotel. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s biggest forts, perched on a hill with amazing views. Explore its museum full of royal treasures.
- Walk through Jodhpur’s blue streets near the fort and enjoy the lively vibe. Have dinner with local dishes like mirchi vada or mawa kachori.
- Stay at a cozy hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 05
Jodhpur to Udaipur (260 km, 5 hours)
- After breakfast, visit Jaswant Thada, a white marble memorial near Mehrangarh Fort, and Umaid Bhawan Palace, a royal home turned museum and hotel.
- Drive to Udaipur, the City of Lakes, about 5 hours away. Check into your hotel on arrival.
- Take a relaxing boat ride on Lake Pichola, passing by the famous Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. Enjoy dinner with a lake view.
- Stay at a lakeside hotel in Udaipur.
Day 06
Udaipur Sightseeing
- Visit the City Palace, a huge complex with lovely views of the lake and a museum of royal history. Then, see Jagdish Temple, a 17th-century temple with detailed carvings.
- Explore Saheliyon Ki Bari, a pretty garden with fountains and lotus pools, built for royal ladies. Later, visit the Crystal Gallery at Fateh Prakash Palace to see rare crystal items.
- Shop for handicrafts at Hathi Pol Bazaar or relax by the lake. Try Rajasthani thali for dinner.
- Stay in Udaipur.
Day 07
Udaipur to Delhi (Departure)
- After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Depending on your flight, you can visit Fateh Sagar Lake for a quick stroll or shop for souvenirs.
- Drive to Udaipur Airport (25 km, 45 minutes) and catch a flight back to Delhi (1.5-hour flight). From Delhi, head home or continue your travels.
- Your Rajasthan Heritage Tour 7 Days ends with memories of royal Rajasthan.

Very part of this tour was excellent. Our room was lovely – larger than expected. We had a balcony which I really enjoyed.
